Zegler went to St. Philip the Apostle Preparatory in Clifton New Jersey. Immaculate Conception High School is a Roman Catholic, all-girls school which prepares students for college. Zegler appeared in a variety of productions that the school had, such as Beauty and the Beast The Little Mermaid as well as Shrek the Musical. She also played Cosette (in Les Miserables) and Millie (in Thoroughly Modern Millie). Zegler graduated from Immaculate Conception High School, in 2019.
